All IDM extensions you can find on the Google Store are counterfeit and should not be used.

Google extensions are hidden in the Google Store and are not searchable. This is by design because it makes no sense to install extensions without IDM, so you have to install the extensions automatically during IDM installation.

3. How to configure IDM extension for Chrome?

If you have already added the IDM extension to Chrome, you should expand it correctly. To do this, tap the Chrome menu (arrow 1 in the image), select the "More Tools" menu item (arrow 2 in the image), then select the "Extended" tab (arrow 3 in the image). Then hit the "Details" option (arrow 4 in the image) to expand the IDM.

       

Then make sure the "IDM Integration Module" extension is enabled (arrow 1 in the image). If you are using incognito mode in Chrome, you need to select the 'Allow in incognito mode' checkbox (arrow 2 in the image).
